We traveled over to San Diego California and visited and stayed with
LeaAnn (Nathan's sister) and Walter Sharp. This is a skateboard swing in their small front yard. We left on Friday afternoon and arrived around 7pm.

Saturday morning we didn't really have any plans so we decided to go to Belmont park. We got everything ready and then went to go and found a nail in our back rear tire. That changed our plans. We drove to Discount tire and it was an hour wait. We decided to take the kids to a nearby park and let them play. This was the park and this was a sign in the park. Nice huh?

Nathan and Walter just
chillin. We ended up getting lunch and bringing it back to the park.

We went out for frozen yogurt after that. That was yummy. Then we just came back to the house and let the kids play and rest. They did great, and it was actually a little warm.

Max and Ian have
Heely's. Jane decided she wanted to put them on. It was funny she couldn't walk. She tried roller skating and that didn't work either. It was cute. Then that night
LeaAnn had arrange for a babysitter and her mom to come and watch the kids so we could go out to dinner and the temple. We went to a THAI restaurant and it was so delicious!

When I mentioned that we wanted to go to the temple
LeaAnn didn't mention it was under construction. They are repairing a major water leak and fixing it up. Their was scaffolding everywhere. That's okay, it is what inside that counts, right!

We made the 730 session. It was beautiful inside the temple. I really enjoyed the session. It was small session. When we came out it was dark of course. I love seeing the temple light up the whole world!

Memorial Day Monday May 31, 2010 The BEACH

We left the house around 8am and got to the beach. IT WAS COLD! This beach is literally a stone throw away from Sea World. The reason we went to this beach was for the See
Doo's.
LeaAnn's friends dad had them and brought them for us. I had never been on one. It was fun.

The kids getting in the cold water for the first time. Jane refusing too.

Sea World

When we got their we found a nice spot, spread out and just shivered for a couple of hours. At least I did. The kids just played and played. It was really fun. The sun eventually came out and it got hot.

The kids burying Bo.

Nathan reapplying sunblock for the second time. The only spot he missed was the top of his feet. Ouch! I had sprayed all the kids several times with sunblock. We stayed at the beach for about 6 hours and nobody but Max got really really burned.

Jane was so cute, every time she asked for a treat she would go and wash off her hands and then trek up the beach just to fall down again into the sand and get her hands dirty again. I couldn't even count how many times she did that. One time I just made her eat it with sand, because it was like the 3rd or 4
th time. Oh well. We had good food, good company and it really was nice. Then it turned afternoon and the place got PACKED. REALLY REALLY PACKED. We decided to leave at that time.

The girls laying out on their beach towels. Just kidding. They were in the sand all the time.

Van Sharp playing in the water.

Ian always wanting to go on the See
Doo's.

Max Sharp playing king of the water.

We went back to
LeaAnn's house and had dinner-Pizza. We visited and then we were all worn out. We went to bed. It was so relaxing. Thanks for such a wonderful time Sharps!
