A beautiful Sunset.
When we got their we set up camp and started dinner. Just after dinner the sun was setting and it was beautiful. The weather was amazing. 75-80 degrees the whole time. We loved it.

Our Cook.
Nathan making dinner. He did a great job. Next time not so hot on the potatoes. Okay.
PANCAKES!
We had steak and potatoes for dinner and the girls don't like steak, and the potatoes were too hot. So Nathan made the girls pancakes.
Just Chillin'.
Baby Jane ran a high fever the whole time camping. She had a blowout. She pooped all over her and me. I had to change my clothes and give her a bath. Nathan and Casey gave her a blessing and by Saturday she woke up with no fever and had her appetite back. She was up all night the first night, which kept everybody else up. The second night she slept in the car and slept almost through the whole night. Besides her keeping us up the first night I swear we heard a weird nose, like a bear. But it ended up being a bird. It scared Jamie and I. I hate noises. The second night we slept better, because Jane was in the car and their were a lot more people camping by us up all night with their music. On Saturday after we got all the camping gear cleaned up Bree broke down with the fever. She has been fighting it for two days. Whose Next?
Our girl Scouts.
The girls did a great job hunting and gathering fire wood. In fact when we started each fire they had gathered little sticks and pine cones. They had fun and we sure appreciated it.

More PANCAKES!
Thank goodness for pancakes. We forgot to pack food that the girls would eat. They had pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Crossword Puzzles.
Nathan and I sitting doing a crossword puzzle. It was a beautiful afternoon. Don't tell Nathan I told you but we did have to cheat to finish the puzzle. It was a hard one.
Our fire pit was right next to our table. Every time we sat down to play games or eat dinner we had smoke all over. We had to keep the little ones away from the table. We played games one night and it was all over the game. It did keep us warm especially after the big rain storm. Friday afternoon we decided to go for a walk and our family made it home in time to clean up camp and zip up tents. Casey and Jamie got stuck in the storm. They stayed under a tree until it cleared up. Then they came wandering back to camp. It was a loud storm. It calmed the dust down. It was beautiful.
The Swing.
Uncle Casey made the girls a swing. The girls were always exploring, but soon enough they got bored of that. They had fun swinging.

Camryn being so good while we packed our stuff.
Our Vans are PACKED!
Our van was packed to the top. You could barely get to the girls. We really need a truck or trailer. Nathan is amazing when it comes to packing though. He can pack almost everything perfect every time. Me on the other hand cannot pack very well. Not to mention when we went to leave and the keys were packed away with the clothes already packed into the van. Nathan had to get them out by taking out the bag and digging for them. I just didn't think about it. Oh well.
On our way home from camping we stopped at this cave and everyone except me of course went into it and explored it. It was a short way and that was the end of the cave. No bears.
We had a fun time camping.
Love, Carrie and family
